The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is on the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product isn't the only helpful means of learning. Their NCV programmes are intended for students who want to commence their journey towards a fulfilling occupation early on.
CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Office for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.
False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These classes commence at NCV level 2 and the minimal prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

On which sort of scholars are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling will not be essentially the false bay college only real way of turning out to be an artisan or turning out to be capable therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is in fact completely suited for that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
